Prayer times are calculated based on your location and the selected calculation method. To fix this:
  1. Go to Settings → Calculation Method and select the method used in your region.
  2. For Turkey, Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı is recommended.
  3. Make sure your location is set correctly under Settings → Location.
  4. If on Wi-Fi without GPS, set your city manually via Settings → Location → Select City.
Follow these steps in order:
  1. Open your phone's Settings → Firdaus → Notifications and make sure notifications are allowed.
  2. Inside the app, go to Settings → Notifications and confirm that each prayer's toggle is enabled.
  3. Check that your device is not in Do Not Disturb or Focus mode during prayer times.
  4. If using Low Power Mode, some background processes may be restricted — disable it temporarily to test.
  5. You can use the Send Test Notification button in Notification Settings to verify everything is working.
Tap any Go Premium button inside the app. You'll see two options:
  • Monthly — billed every month
  • Yearly — ~50% savings compared to monthly
All purchases are processed securely through the Apple App Store. Firdaus never stores your payment information.
Subscriptions are managed through Apple, not Firdaus. To cancel:
  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your profile photo in the top-right corner.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Find Firdaus and tap Cancel Subscription.
Your Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for unused portions of a billing period.
Go to Settings → Premium → Restore Purchases inside the app. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase. Restoration is instant and free.
Firdaus calculates the Qibla direction using your GPS coordinates and the Great Circle bearing to Mecca (21.4225° N, 39.8262° E). For best accuracy:
  • Calibrate your compass by moving the device in a figure-8 pattern.
  • Keep the device away from metal surfaces and strong magnetic fields.
  • Hold the phone flat and parallel to the ground.
  • Signed in with Google: Your dhikr counts, favorites, and settings are synced to Firestore. Reinstalling and signing in again will restore everything.
  • Guest mode: Data is stored locally only. Deleting the app will permanently remove it.
We recommend signing in with Google to prevent data loss.
Quran audio requires an internet connection and a Premium subscription. If you have both:
  • Check that your device is not on silent mode.
  • Ensure the volume is turned up.
  • Try switching to a different Wi-Fi or mobile data connection.
  • Close and reopen the app if audio stalls mid-playback.
Go to Settings → Language and select from Turkish, English, Arabic, Indonesian, or Malay. The app will apply the language change immediately without needing a restart.
